A uniquely fragrant creeping thyme, Thymus praecox 'Nutmeg' is prized for its warm, spicy nutmeg-scented foliage that releases its distinctive aroma when brushed or lightly walked upon. Its dense, low mat of tiny green leaves spreads readily to form a fragrant groundcover between stepping stones, along path edges, and in rock gardens. In summer, cheerful pink blooms emerge above the foliage, attracting bees and butterflies.
