A graceful evergreen perennial native to South Africa, Pennisetum spathiolatum forms attractive clumping, arching mounds of dark grey-green foliage. From summer into fall, slender tawny pink plumes rise 2–3 feet above the foliage, creating an airy, elegant display that works beautifully in arrangements, borders, and containers. Drought tolerant and deer resistant, it thrives in sun to part shade with minimal care. Attracts butterflies.
