Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco' – Stonecrop
A California native gem, Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco' forms tight, low rosettes of fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves coated in a striking silvery-white powdery bloom that gives the plant an almost luminous quality. In late spring and early summer, small clusters of bright yellow flowers rise above the foliage on short stems, adding a cheerful pop of color. Extremely drought tolerant and adaptable, 'Cape Blanco' is an outstanding choice for rock gardens, green roofs, dry walls, and as a low ground cover in sunny, well-drained sites.
