A refined and compact selection of the classic Snow-in-Summer, Cerastium tomentosum 'Yo Yo' forms a dense, low mat of very fine, silvery-green woolly foliage that provides year-round interest in the garden. In late spring, the plant is blanketed in a profusion of small, bright white flowers that give it its evocative common name. More compact and better-behaved than the straight species, 'Yo Yo' is ideal for rock gardens, border edges, and sunny slopes where a silver-foliaged groundcover is desired.
