A vibrant California native, 'Splendens' is one of the showiest Sea Thrift selections, producing rich deep rose-pink ball-shaped flower heads on slender stems above tidy, grass-like evergreen tufts from spring through fall. Tough and adaptable — tolerating deer, drought, fire, and coastal conditions — it's a perfect low-maintenance plant for rock gardens, borders, edging, containers, and cut flower arrangements. Attracts butterflies and is somewhat gopher resistant.
