Quick Care Guide for Succulents
- Sun: Most succulents prefer 4–6+ hours of direct sun. Sedums and Sempervivums are especially sun-hungry. Haworthia and Sansevieria tolerate lower light.
- Water: Water deeply, then let the soil dry completely before watering again. In summer, every 1–2 weeks; in winter, once a month or less.
- Soil: Fast-draining is essential. Use a cactus/succulent mix or amend with pumice or coarse perlite.
- Frost: Sempervivums are frost-hardy to Zone 3–4. Most Echeverias and Sedums are hardy to Zone 5–7. Aloes and tropical succulents prefer Zone 9+.
