Salvia x 'Sally Greenwood' – Hybrid Sage
'Sally Greenwood' is a lovely compact sage with small gray-green leaves and a tight, mounding habit. Fuzzy royal-purple flowers appear from spring through fall, bringing long-season color and attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The original nursery description records this sport as coming from The Plant Barn in Chico, California. Deer and drought resistance make it a practical choice for sunny borders, groundcover plantings, and containers. Plant in well-drained soil and provide moderate water, allowing conditions to become drier once established.
