Salvia x 'Elk Blue Note' – Hybrid Sage
'Elk Blue Note' is a distinctive hybrid selection developed by Flowers by the Sea through several generations of breeding from seed-grown Blue Note plants. True blue flowers rise on wiry stems above small, firm olive-green leaves, forming an attractive, densely branched dome. This sun-loving perennial stays compact and tidy in full sun and brings lovely color to mixed borders, containers, and large-scale groundcover plantings. Flowers appear in repeated flushes through the growing season; shear lightly after a flowering flush to encourage fresh growth. Plant in well-drained soil with moderate water.
