Lush and carpet-like, Sagina subulata forms a dense, emerald-green mat of tiny, moss-like foliage that is soft to the touch and beautifully uniform in texture. In late spring and early summer, it is studded with tiny white star-shaped flowers that give it a delicate, sparkling appearance.
