One of the most architectural and winter-interest Hellebores available, Helleborus foetidus is a striking evergreen perennial with deeply divided, dark green leaves that form a bold, structural mound year-round. In winter through spring, clusters of pendulous pale green flowers edged in rose appear on tall stems — a subtle, sophisticated color combination that's beautiful in the winter garden. Drought tolerant, clay tolerant, and deer resistant, it thrives in part shade to full shade and makes an excellent cut flower, woodland plant, border specimen, and rock garden accent.
