A charming and versatile trailing perennial with uniquely scalloped, cream-and-green variegated foliage that adds texture and brightness to shady spots. Also known as Field Balm and Gill-over-the-ground, 'Variegata' is a standout in hanging baskets and containers where its trailing stems can cascade freely, and it makes an attractive ground cover in shaded garden beds. Small light blue flowers appear in spring and summer. Deer resistant and easy to grow in moderate moisture and shade.
