Euphorbia rigida – Rigid Spurge
An attractive evergreen perennial, Euphorbia rigida brings sculptural texture to borders and rock gardens with its narrow, pointed, steely blue leaves. Similar to E. myrsinites, it grows upright at first before developing a spreading habit, creating a lovely contrast along garden edges. Chartreuse to yellow blooms brighten the foliage from spring through summer. Deer resistant and drought tolerant, it thrives in sunny, dry spots and also accommodates part shade with moderate to dry watering.
