Eschscholzia californica 'Purple Gleam' – California Poppy
A striking and unusual selection of California’s native state flower, 'Purple Gleam' produces silky purple cup-shaped blooms from spring through summer above finely cut, blue-green foliage. This self-sowing annual naturalizes beautifully in meadows, borders, and wildflower gardens. Drought and clay tolerant and deer resistant, it is an attractive, low-maintenance choice whose seeds draw birds. Seed-grown offspring may not always retain the parent’s purple flower color.
