Its mounding habit — spreading to an impressive 36" — makes it one of the most effective groundcover heaths available, smothering weeds while providing months of floral interest. Dark green foliage provides a rich backdrop for the bright white flowers. Like all Darley Heaths, it thrives in the worst soils, tolerates deer and gophers, and asks for very little beyond an occasional light trim.
