Erica x darleyensis 'Mary Helen' – Darley Heath
'Mary Helen' is a standout Darley Heath prized as much for its foliage as its flowers. The yellow-gold leaves take on warm bronze tones in winter, creating year-round color interest even before the soft pink blooms appear from February through May. Compact and tidy at just 8–10" tall, it's an excellent choice for the front of borders, rock gardens, and containers. Like all Darley Heaths, it thrives in the worst soils, naturally suppresses weeds, and tolerates deer and gophers — all with minimal care.
