Epilobium canum var. latifolium 'Everett's Choice' – California Fuchsia

Epilobium canum var. latifolium 'Everett's Choice' – California Fuchsia (Hummingbird Flower)

This lovely California native selection brings vibrant orange-red tubular flowers to sunny gardens from summer through fall. Gray-green foliage provides an attractive backdrop to the brilliant blooms, while its broad, low-growing habit creates a delightful display along borders and in rock gardens. Hummingbirds and butterflies visit the flowers, adding movement to water-wise plantings late in the season. Drought tolerant once established and deer resistant, 'Everett's Choice' is a practical, low-maintenance choice for well-drained sites. It can also be planted near oaks where sunny exposure and compatible dry growing conditions are available.
