Annual: Classic Mexican herb. The slowest one to bolt yet - 3 weeks slower than Santo! Often associated with salsa, this strong scented herb grows out flat, toothed leaves for Mexican, Thai, Chinese and Indian cooking. Seeds are reputed to help reduce stress. Easy to grow and tolerant of cooler conditions. Stocky, well-branched habit. Height: 12-18 inches. Width: 12-18 inches. Water: moderate/moist. Exposure: sun (part shade in hottest climates). |
