Viola cornuta 'Penny Blue' – Horned Violet

Viola cornuta 'Penny Blue' – Horned Violet

Viola cornuta 'Penny Blue' brings lovely, clear blue flowers to a compact mound of green foliage, creating cheerful color along pathways, at the front of borders, and in patio containers. Part of the Penny series, this early-flowering selection has a tightly branched habit and a strong root system that supports reliable cool-season performance. Plant in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun to part shade, providing afternoon shade in warmer gardens. Regular watering and removal of faded blooms help keep the display attractive; flowering may slow during summer heat and return as temperatures cool.
