Salvia nemorosa 'East Friesland' – Meadow Sage
East Friesland Meadow Sage is a classic, reliable perennial herb prized for its vivid purple flower spikes that bloom prolifically from summer through fall. An excellent border, rock garden, container, and edging plant, it pairs beautifully with garden roses and combines elegantly with Achillea (yarrow). Tolerant of drought, deer, and gophers, it's a low-maintenance workhorse that also attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Also known as S. × sylvestris and S. superba.
