Lomandra longifolia 'Platinum Beauty' – Mat Rush

Lomandra longifolia 'Platinum Beauty' – Mat Rush

This lovely evergreen mat rush brings graceful movement and bright contrast to gardens with narrow green leaves edged in white. The arching foliage forms an attractive clump, softening border edges and adding year-round texture to containers and mixed plantings. Yellow flower heads nestle among the foliage in season. An Australian species selection also known by its cultivar name 'Roma 13', 'Platinum Beauty' is part of the Sunset branded plant collection. Its drought tolerance once established makes it an excellent choice for water-wise gardens. Plant in sun to partial shade with well-drained soil and water regularly while establishing.
