Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote Blue' – English Lavender
Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote Blue' is a lovely compact English lavender prized for its richly colored, deep violet-blue flower spikes and aromatic gray-green foliage. Its tidy, mounding habit makes it an excellent choice for edging sunny pathways, creating low hedges, or adding fragrance to containers and cottage gardens. The nectar-rich summer flowers attract bees and butterflies and are excellent for fresh bouquets, dried arrangements, and fragrant sachets. Plant in full sun with excellent drainage, and lightly trim after flowering to encourage a neat, bushy shape without cutting into old, leafless wood.
