Carex x 'The Beatles' – Mop Top Sedge
One of the most charming low groundcovers available, Carex x 'The Beatles' forms a dense, mop-top carpet of fine dark green foliage just 3–4 inches tall. It tolerates light foot traffic, making it a wonderful lawn alternative or filler between stepping stones and along paths. Deer resistant and bog tolerant, it blooms in summer and attracts butterflies. Possibly a hybrid of C. gitata x C. ornithipoda.
