A tough and versatile evergreen sedge, Carex divulsa forms attractive clumping mounds of fine-textured, arching grey-green foliage. Extremely adaptable — it tolerates drought, deer, boggy conditions, sun, and shade — making it one of the most reliable groundcovers for difficult spots under trees or in dry borders. Inconspicuous greenish flowers age to brown. Attracts butterflies. Also sold as Berkeley Sedge.
