The oldest white Japanese anemone cultivar still in cultivation, 'Honorine Jobert' has been gracing gardens since 1858 and remains unsurpassed for its pure white single flowers with golden yellow stamens borne on tall, branching stems from summer through fall. Deer resistant, clay tolerant, and virtually pest and disease free, it is an outstanding low-maintenance perennial for woodland gardens, shaded borders, and naturalistic plantings. Spreads easily to form a lovely groundcover under high-branching trees.
