Ajuga reptans 'Black Scallop' – Carpet Bugle
One of the darkest and most dramatic ajugas available, 'Black Scallop' forms a dense, weed-suppressing mat of deeply scalloped, near-black purple foliage that provides striking year-round contrast in the garden. In spring and early summer, upright spikes of rich blue flowers emerge above the dark leaves, creating a stunning color combination. Spreads quickly by runners to form an effective groundcover.
