Big Root Geranium, Crane's Bill
Perennial: Semi-evergreen. Deer, clay & drought tolerant. Somewhat gopher resistant. Pot, ground cover & border plant w/fragrant leaves. Spring-summer blooms of white with pink sepals & stamens. Growth: large, thick rhizomes (big roots) rise out of the soil & slowly spread across the surface, 1-1.5' x 2'. Sun/part shade. Mod/dry water. USDA Z4-9.
