Stalked Bulbine (syn. B. caulescens)
Shrub: Succulent perennial native to South Africa with fleshy pencil-like foliage. Flower stalks carry clusters of star-shaped yellow flowers in spring-fall. Good cut flower. Nice for rock gardens, banks and containers. Forms clumps to 12" x 36-48". Flower stalks to 24". Exposure: sun. Tolerates dryness & poor, dry soil. USDA Z9-11. |
