Perennial Herb: Evergreen. Tolerates deer, drought, fire, clay, foot traffic & poor soils. Somewhat gopher resistant. California native. Good container, border, cut/dried flower & rock garden plant. To use as a lawn, mow before flowering. Attracts butterflies. Blooms: spring-fall. Color: white (but variation can occur with seed) . Upright & clumping. Height: 1-3'. Width: 1-3'. Exposure: sun/part shade. Water: moderate/dry. USDA Z3-10.
