Annual: Deer resistant. Popular plant for cottage grdns or as a cut flower. More than half will have fully dbl blms, antique shades of rose, blue, carmine, ylw, red, & lilac. Spicy clove scent. Use in beds, borders, containers & cutting gardens. Culinary note: Flowers are usually added raw to salads or garnish to desserts, can also be candied. Their flavor is perfumed. Attracts butterflies.
