Rhizomatous Perennial Grass: Evergreen. Tolerates deer, gopher resistant, clay & bog. Native to California Oregon, & Washington. A selection near Elk in Mendocino County. Great accent foliage. The thin upright reeds of striking blue-gray are narrower & bluer than others. It makes a distinctive pond side, border & pot plant. Has insignificant brown flowers. Stiff, upright habit. Ht: 1-2 ft. Width: 1-2 ft. Exposure: sun/part shade. Water: moist. USDA Z6-9. |
