Succulent: Evergreen perennial mostly native to Mexico. Tolerates deer and drought. The stemless 4-5 inch rosettes are packed with over 25 fleshy pale silvery-green leaves with red edges and tips. Good rock garden, border and container plant. Bloom time: spring. Bloom color: bright yellow urn-shaped blooms on arching, reddish stems. Slow growing. Height: 8 inches. Width: 6-8 inches. Exposure: sun/part shade. Water: moderate/dry. USDA Z9-11.
