Perennial Herb: Evergreen. Tolerates drought, deer, fire, heat, coast & poor soil. Somewhat gopher resistant. Has 2-3" bright yellow flower heads in summer-fall. Good for pots, borders, cut/dried flower & rock gardens. To use as a lawn, mow before it flowers. Attracts butterflies. Upright & clumping: 18-24" x 24". Full sun. Water: moderate/dry. USDA Z3-10. |
