Small yellow flowers add warm color from summer into fall, creating a lovely contrast against the felted leaves. Its spreading, cascading habit makes it an excellent accent for containers, banks, borders, rock gardens, and small groundcover areas. Fast growing in suitable conditions, 'Moe's Gold' is drought tolerant once established and deer resistant, with flowers that can attract butterflies. Grow in full sun and sharply drained soil, with moderate to low watering. Protect it from hard frosts and prolonged winter wet.

Key Features:

Evergreen perennial subshrub with a low, trailing habit

South African origin

Striking silvery-gray foliage covered in soft, woolly felt

Small yellow flowers from summer into fall

Drought tolerant once established and deer resistant

Fast-growing, spreading groundcover in suitable conditions

Excellent accent for containers, banks, borders, and rock gardens

Cascades attractively over container edges

Flowers attract butterflies

Requires excellent drainage; protect from hard frosts and winter wet

Growing Details:
Height: 3–6 inches | Spread: 12–36 inches, spreading with age
Exposure: Sun | Water: Moderate to low; drought tolerant once established
Bloom time: Summer–fall | Bloom color: Yellow
USDA Hardiness Zone: 9–11
